N. ART CONSULTING

These are your walls.  This is your personal gallery.  Wondering how to find the perfect art for you, your place, and your personality?     Confused about where to start?    Need help measuring and hanging?     CLUELESS?

I'm   here   for   you,   dude.

The   W H A T :  What  Kind  Of  Art  Do  You  Like?

Everyone is drawn to a particular kind of art.  Maybe you like bold colors, maybe you like abstracts, maybe you like figures.  Maybe you want a little of everything in one color, maybe you want a litlte of everything in every color.  I have artists of all kinds who want you to fall in love with their stuff.

We're going to curate your personal gallery.  Once we figure out what you're into, we can look at what will best suit your artwork needs.  It's important to first know what you love, rather than just pick out some cheap poster that happens to be the right size for the space over your couch.  Whatever you have on your walls should be something you LOVE, and love is more important that posters.

The  WHERE:  Where is your  LONLIEST  WALL?

Think about your lonliest wall.  Is it in your Living Room?  Bedroom?  Kitchen?  Your lonliest wall is the place where your eyes land most often and say, "I need to put something there.  Like really bad."

If you're a first-time art buyer, you may have a bunch of lonely walls.  Pick one spot where you think some great art would enrich your experience.  You don't have to fill every wall at once - finding art you love can be a life-long process.  We know the things you like, now, so we can zero in on some pieces of a style and size suitable for your lonliest wall.

The HOW: How much do you feel like spending?

Different artists and different mediums can vary in price, and originals will cost more than prints or reproductions.  I will walk you through prices.  With our Print and Canvas Reproductions shop coming mid-2014, we'll have something for every budget.

It's completely normal to feel anxious about buying your first piece of art.  Some people start small, buying prints or reproductions for less money.  Some, on the other hand, can dive right in and purchase a $10,000 big-ass masterpiece.  Either method of collecting art is totally acceptable!  Just be honest with yourself about how much you want to spend.

The WHEN: When we decicde on the perfect piece

We've picked out some great pieces of art in the appropriate size to hang on your lonely wall.  It's time to pick one.

I am here to help you.  Let's get together with your pieces of choice and see how they look.  I can hold them up on your wall, we can take some time to look at them side-by-side, we can set them up in your home to deliberate over before you take the plunge.

Once you decide on your perfect piece, I will help you hang it and your walls wil be lonely no-more!  Congratulations!  You've now acquired a piece for your COLLECTION.

The  E n d :    Time to Party Down!

Buying a piece of art, whether a reproduction or an original, is a cause for celebration!  You've gone through a lot of thinking and you've cracked open your wallet, so why not crack a bottle of wine too?

Throwing a party is a great way to not-so-subtly brag about your new purchase.  But you're allowed to!  Who has art cooler than you?  Probably nobody.
