Romantic death   

 

Light:​:

Beauty in transformation; pride in overcoming; freedom from old habits; embracing change;  inevitability; realizing all things always change.

Dark:

Dwelling with delight in suffering or loss; victimhood; resistance to change, or fear of change;

Ask Yourself:

Is there a "death" you've experienced, or need to experience, to move forward (spiritually, emotionally, relationally, or practically)?  Is it an end, or, is it a beginning?  Nothing lasts forever, and it can be painful to hold onto what has ailed us - it can also be comfortable, to a point.  We keep one foot in the door of our suffering, because at least we know what that version of our life looks like.  It can be scary to let go of old patterns in favor of the unknown, but it is often a beautiful, romantic passage into a stronger, more compassionate version of ourselves.
