Something new is on the way; careful consideration of how the past feeds into the future; looking back in wisdom; the rising of a new sun; confidence in the wisdom gained from the past; rising above old patterns

 

Dark:

Looking back on the past, overthinking; messy thinking concerning past events; staying in old patterns

Ask Yourself:

When you examine your life, what do you look back on?  What have your turning-point moments been?  What wisdom do you now have that you didn't have then?  Sometimes, when we look back, we say "hindsight is 20/20", and we become consumed with regrets, or wish we would have done things differently.  But we made it through those things, even WITHOUT the wisdom we have now, having been through it!  This card asks us to trust ourselves, and trust our life path ; and to be thankful to ourselves and proud of ourselves for having come so far.
